Does boost mobile offer international FREE texting?

I was wondering if boost mobile offers free international texting… I'm not sure what type of plan it have but I have an apple iphone and the person I want to text has an iphone I believe. Can I text from iphone to iphone with no charge? Will boost add charge to my bill for international texting? Does boost mobile offer free international texting?

Free international texting is only offered when you purchase some type of international plan through Boost. Whether you are calling or texting you are still using towers in another country for the other person to receive a message from you. Unlimited plans are $5 or $10 a month depending on the country.

I used to work for the other side (AT&T) and we had this plan that was $5 buck and you can text international with a $.50 charge 4 every message, other than a full bill ($1.00).

  • Why doesn't Credo mobile offer the iPhone? I'm not asking for the technical explanation of why you can't activate an iphone on credo mobile's network or anything along those lines. I'm simply very curious as to the political reason behind Credo mobile's refusal to offer the iphone. Is there tension between Credo and Apple or something?
  • What is a good international texting app? My girlfriend of over a year is studying abroad in Spain for the next7 months. Right now we're using Vapor and it's alright but I was wondering if anyone had any other good suggestions. I need something that is completely free with no hidden charges. It's alright if Wi-Fi is needed, that shouldn't be much of an issue. Btw, we both have iPhones.Me an iPhone 4S and her a 3GS
  • What app is better, Viber or TextMe for international texting? I will be going to spain and france this week. I need something I can text people with using Wi-Fi. What app is better, Viber or TextMe? Id also like to call people and send photos. I read somewhere you may have to pay money to text/call abroad. Also, people with iPhones, can I text my mom who also has an iPhone for free over Wi-Fi without it being charged? I hear you can do that too.
  • Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile? I'm moving to Houston this summer and I'm looking for a cheaper cell phone plan. I talk, text, email, fb etc. I had virgin mobile back in 2004 and I love it and had no problem. I have a android galaxy s3 right now which I love but the battery isn't so great. I'm thinking about possibly buying an iPhone. What I'm really looking for is reviews on virgin and boost mobile. If you have any other cheap cell phone plan carrier suggestions I'm up for that too.
