Does factory resetting an iPhone remove its Apple ID?

I recently bought an iPhone from Gazelle.com, and they say they reset the phone. Does this mean the Apple ID is removed from it? When I turn it on will I set up the phone just like I would as if it were new?

Yes. If you go into settings then general and reset you will get a few option on what you are resetting. I think you can choose like data or completely everything and if you do everything than it will go through a process and in a few mins will as to set up like a brand new phone out of the store! Go ahead and enjoy your "Brand new phone"

  • Why does my iphone 4s settings keep resetting? My phone is not jail broken. I reset my phone every night and sometimes when I reset it when it comes back on some of my settings are reset like my ring-tones, brightness settings and mail settings. One time when I did this it acted like it updated. It has the loading bar and my settings listed above were reset. I recently restored my phone and it keep doing it.
  • Setting up an iPhone after resetting it without using previous apple id? Ok, so my title doesn't really make sense but here's my situation. I recently sold an iPhone 4 on ebay and obviously I want to reset it. However, I have been told that after you reset it, you'll have to use the original apple ID you started with. Is this true? If it is, how do I do make it so that you can use any apple ID to set it up?
