Does iMessage cost money abroad?
I'm in Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) and I'm sending messages on my iPhone via iMessage (Blue text) to my friends back in LA. I want to know, does it cost money?

- Will using iMessage cost me money under my provider new charge? My phone provider(telus) is adding a 40 cent per text to people outside of Canada so my question is, since me and my friend both have iPhones, if iMessage counts as a text or not cause it uses Wi-Fi?
- If I text someone out of country for iMessage with an email will it still cost money? If I text a girl from the UK off of her email for iMessage instead of number, would it still cost more money? I have iphone 5s AT&T unlimited text, but if I use someone's email for iMessage instead of number that doesn't live in the US, will it still cost more money
