Does it use your data when you iMessage or text someone?
Is data used on your iPhone when you iMessage or text someone? I'm not really sure, so just asking.
Text messages, no, they are counted differently.
iMessage, however, does use your data. But the size of text messages are pretty small so I wouldn't worry about running out of data, even if you use it a lot. When you are on Wi-Fi, it will send the messages through there and not use the data. Sending a lot of pictures or videos through iMessage will use more data, so maybe that is something to avoid unless on Wi-Fi.
- When you use the amazon cloud on you iphone does that use data? Okay so for Christmas I got an iphone 4s and I have music on the amazon cloud that I want to listen to on my iphone. I have to be careful with how much data I use (especially since my brother can go a bit overboard) So I was just wondering whether just listening to the music on the amazon cloud uses data or not.
- What happens when you block someone on an iPhone 6, and they text you or call you? Specifically, does the phone keep ringing or does it say the call can't be made? Does the text deliver and just never show up on the receiving phone, or does the sender get a message saying the text can't be sent? (The other phone is not an iPhone.)
- If someone blocks you on iPhone and you hide your caller id and try calling, does the call work? If I hide my caller id will the call be completed or it will go straight to the voice mail? If I leave a voice message with a hidden caller id, will that person get the message?
- How to text and use iMessage on an old iPhone 4s without having to use Wi-Fi? IIm getting my phone taken away for a bit and I want to be able to still text or iMessage on an old iPhone 4s. My friend can use his old iPod to iMessage but he has to have Wi-Fi. How can I do it without having to use Wi-Fi or how can I at least set it up on my iCloud?
