Does the iphone 5 have the same headphone jack?
Just woundering if I can use the same headphones or I need new ones for the 5, and also I there any speaker docks for iphone 5 that are decent?
Yes, it's a standard headphone jack
The headphone jack is the exact same 3.5mm one as on most devices, the dock, however, as you may have noticed is quite different. Apple haven't brought out any speakers yet, but in mid November an adaptor will become available (originally it was going to be release FREE with the iPhone 5, but now sadly you will have to pay a hefty £35 for it - which personally I think is a rip off! ) but if you have an iPod speaker dock, it will most likely have a jack socket in the back which you can plug a jack to headphone lead into - you can find them on amazon! Hopefully soon someone like Sony will bring out an iPhone 5 charger/speaker dock for under £50!
Yes, it is a normal 3.5mm headphone jack, the same as all the other iPhones and iPods, and most smart phones. IPhone 5 accessories are limited at the moment, as the phone is new. You'll just have to look around and see what you find.
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is my iPhone the cause of my headphone jack breaking? So I have an iPhone 4S and I was using these headphones for about a year and all the sudden the jack you plug in to the phone, bent. It wouldn't work anymore. I don't know how this happened, it may not have been my iPhone. However, now I have a new pair of headphones and I just want to make sure it isn't my phone doing this, could it be my phone or is that very unlikely?
- I have an iPhone 7 and I lost the headphone jack adapter that came with it (not surprising) I bought another one from Amazon (offbrand) and after listening to music for around 30 seconds, I get a msg on my phone saying that "this accessory is not supported by your phone," anyway I can fix this?
