Does the iphone 5s for sprint have a sim card?
If my friend gives me their iphone 5 and its for sprint, can i put in a sim card and use it?

It has one but it's only for 4G unless it's unlocked, but you'd have to ask Sprint. If it isn't, you can't legally unlock it without Sprint doing it for you.

No sprint is CDMA, so no SIM cards.
Yes, they take SIM but you'll need to get the phone unlocked before you can use a SIM in it. Verizon iPhone 5 comes unlocked for SIM but not Sprint. You can mail this person (arghyle@rocketmail.com) who can help you get the phone factory unlocked.
