Don't know iphone password
Hi so I bought a AT&T iPhone 5 off the street and when I got home there was a passcode on the iPhone which I don't know. I tried connecting to iTunes on my computer but I couldn't unlock because that iPhone was not originally connected to my computer. How can I unlock this iPhone? I heard that the only way you can unlock it is if you use dfu mode and after doing research I still don't know what a dfu mode really does to a iPhone will it unlock the passcode and let me use the phone? Please help? I tried going back to where i bought it but couldnt the guy who sold it to me because he was some random guy. (Never again) please help?
Probably stolen. You're also probably screwed. This is why you never buy anything from random guys on the street.
Go into dfu mode and restore the system. The phone will reload factory settings. It will work… Quit buying stolen stuff or quit stealin stuff: D
- Locked iPhone, don't know the password? I have an iPhone 4s through AT&T and the other day one of my friends decided it would be cool to set a password on my phone and not tell me what it was. It was just meant to be a joke but they don't remember what the password was so now my phone is locked and I can't access anything because I don't know the password. What do I do!
- Is there any way I can use my deceased father's iphone X even though I don't know his password or his e-mail password? My dad passed away recently. He had a fairly new iPhone X. I'd like to use it as my own phone but I don't know the passcode. I watched a video on how to restore the phone but I still can't use it because the phone is connected to an itunes account… And since i don't know his e-mail password, i can't reset it. I went to AT&T (where we were on a family plan) but they said they can't help me. Is his nearly new phone destined to be a paper weight?
- I'm trying to ease all contents and setting from my iPhone 7 and it's asking for a password but I don't have a password Ok so I recently got an iPhone 7 and when I opened it up it was a clean slate nothing on it. However when I tried to restore my old phone's data I restored the wrong phone. I tried to go into setting and ease all contents but it asked for a password that I didn't put into my phone and didn't create. I have no clue what to do.

So when I came home I tried alot of passwords and over time it eventually locked me out. It said connect to iTunes and I did but it didn't work.
