Downloaded the latest version of itunes and iphone 6s still won't connect?

I downloaded and installed the latest version of itunes on my macbook pro but it still says that my iphone can't connect because I need the latest version. Even though I've tried downloading and installing it twice already. What am I doing wrong?

Update it on your phone? Or update mac OS

Same problem, can't download music files to new iphone or ipad air message - ipad/iphone requires newer version of itunes. Very frustrating for $ spent

  • I downloaded TV shows to my iTunes, deleted them, and they still show up? Okay so a while ago, I downloaded TV shows to my iTunes on my computer. When I was finished, I deleted them all. Every time I plug in my iPhone, after it syncs, the episodes begin to download again on my computer. I delete them again. Next time I plug in, same thing. Which made me think that they were stored on my iphone. Can't find them anywhere. No where on itunes anymore. But they still keep showing up! How can I just delete them for good?
  • I can't find my Apps in my latest version of iTunes? I had updated to the latest version of iTunes a week ago. And today when I tried to sync my iPhone I discovered that I can't find my Apps in the Library. Nor can I find the Apps section in the Store. Now I can only find the Apps installed on my iPhone but not the rest that I had purchsed over the years. What happened? Can anyone tell me where is it located now or how I can check with my Apps in Library?
