Dropped IPhone 4 in Toilet:0?
I didn't do my business:0 I bent over and the phone was in my back pocket. I felt it fall out I tried to grab it but missed and it fell in the toilet. I grabbed it, dried it and put it in a ziplock filled with rice. This all happened under 30 seconds.(I freaking ran) How many days should I wait for it to dry? (if it isn't completely dead)
I would give it 2 full days just to be on the safe side. You might get away with 1 day if it was only in there for just a second. Hope it works out for you!
Take it apart and wipe up any water inside but be very gentle and wait at least 12 hours and make sure you get all water.
Let it dry for a few days. It will likely power up but the speaker or microphone might not work properly. Speakers / microphones have a cardboard cone.
Water and electronics don't mix. It could be destroyed… Maybe put it in front of a fan for a day?
