Dropped iPhone, CRACKED with a BLACK screen. But still working?

So just yesterday I doped my iPhone on the ground. I had already been cracked but the screen was working just fine, but after this last fall, the screen when completely black. Although all the buttons work, and I still can receive messages and calls from people, I just can't do anything about them since my phone is completely black. If I know someone who can replace the screen will it go back to normal? Or would it not? Is it an interior problem? HOW DO I FIX THIS?

  • My iphone screen went black, but the phone is still working? I was using my phone all day long and it was working perfectly. Then all of a sudden the screen went black and I thought the screen just dimmed down, so I hit the lock button but it stayed that way. Every once in a while it would light up for like one second when i got a text, but then go black again. My sound still works and everything just the screen is black. What can i do?

I powered it down, dried it off, and let it sit for 30 or so minutes. At first the screen was red but then turned on and everything works. The touch sometimes is unresponsive. Is it safe to use my phone? I'm letting it air dry by a window because rice can cause erosion… Should I use it?
