Dropped my IPhone in the toilet?
So I had it in my back pocket and it fell out and into the toilet. It hadn't been in there for even 5 seconds. I had it in a bag of rice for 2 days and it started to work last night but the battery was dead so I had plugged it in. When I woke up this morning, it wouldn't turn on yet again. What do I do!
The old rice trick does not always work.Water can quickly damage components permanently. Warranties do not cover water damage. Take it in for repair, or consider a new phone. Rice works for moisture, and some minor water intrusion… When your phone is immersed in water completely, it may not ever work again.(Especially if it was turned on!) It causes short circuits within critical components, which is usually terminal toast for many.
Cover the phone in rice that will soak all the wayer out of it you will need to leave it for at least a week
