Dropped my iphone in water. Can I still use it?
My iphone fell into the toilet but I caught it after honestly two seconds and I imediately put the blow dryer to it on cold level (not super got just cold air). Do you think I saved it? Screen still works, headphones work, and charger works. Just the speakers don't work:'( never use them anyway though haha other than phoning. Anyway is it safe to use my phone or will I get like electrocuted from it if all the water isn't out… Dumb question Ikr but is itbpossible? Or can anything else happen to me from it?
Well you won't get electrocuted but the phone may randomly die soon. I'm literally going through this right now. I dropped my phone in a toilet at a party about 6 hours ago. All of the research I've seen said to turn it off and leave it in a bag of rice for at least 24 hours. The longer the better. I have mine in a sealed container. White rice works better than brown, but honestly anything is better than nothing.
Mine still works and everything and it was in there for honestly no more than 3 seconds but just to be safe I dried it off and put it in rice completely turned off. You should do the same.
Just open whatever you can from the phone and blow dry it. Nice hot air. Let all the water come out.
another thing you can do is use white rice. Switch your phone off and seal it so that water is sucked out completely. Blow drying first is better

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iphone 4 in water and my rear camera has water in it I dropped my phone in the toilet, as soon as it landed i grabbed it back out. I was running late so I just dried it off and left. An hour later I see my rear camera is blurry when trying to take a picture and I look at the camera and it's all foggy from moisture! Like a bathroom mirror after a shower! How can I rid of that?! The rest of my phone is working fine, just that foggy camera…
