Dropped my iphone, it has a crack?

Ok so i was at my friend's house taking pics with her in the snow. So my phone slips and I didn't notice it yet but there was a crack! What do I do? My parents are gonna kill me! How much money to repair?

Added (1). It starts about halfway down the left side of the screen and curves up to the right side of the camera.

It's about 100$ to repair but I think it's les money to but a screen and replace it yourself. It could be risky though

Go to the Applestore… If you have Apple protection plan that covers hardware damage, it will be free…

if you don't have Applecare Protection plan, but have Wireless insurance form your wireless carrier, it will be $49-$399 depending on your iphone make/model

If you don't have Applecare Protection or Wireless insurance… It will be $399-$999 for a new Iphone, again depending on what Iphone make/model you want…

If it still works fine just use it as it is.

  • Will my waterproof iPhone get water damage if I wet it while it has a tiny crack? I have an iPhone 8 which is waterproof but I have a very TINY crack on the screen, you can't see it unless you look for it. I only noticed it was there because I felt it when scrolling on it. My question is, could I still get my phone wet or will it break because the water will go through the crack? I used to love taking it into the ocean with me and I'd like to take it with me while I go tubing.
