E symbol next to a song on my iPhone?
I recently updated my phone to IOS 7. Everything was fine, however I have a song on my iPhone that has long been deleted. I've tried deleting it off of my phone, and no option to delete it is available. The song doesn't show up in iTunes, only on my phone. It also has a white E in a black box that appears right after the name of the song. I've attached a URL that leads to a screenshot with the boxed E circled in red.
What does the boxed E mean, and is there any way I can delete the song off of my phone? I hate this song, and I haven't found answers elsewhere.
E usually refers to 'Explicit Content, when I want to delete a song straight off my ipod touch i just have to swipe, however I'm not sure for IOS 7
I don't know either. The best thing to do is reset your phone to factory settings. Just sync to iTunes first. Then backup to iTunes, and then reset it. Then recover from a backup. It should speed the phone up as well, which is a plus haha.
The E is showing that it is explicit content, i.e. Cursing in the song
Yeah it's explicit content
I know what it means. It means that there's inappropriate content in the song including: language, talking about sex, ect.
- Why isn't iTunes letting me download this song to my song app on my iPhone? I just purchased a song but it's not showing up in my music app and when I go to where it says purchased in the iTunes app I hit the cloud but it won't download to my music app. Is it because of my storage? What do I do?
- Why is it when i select a song on my iPhone, it plays a different song? Ok so say my song list on my phone is: Just Lose It Loud R.I.P Lose Yourself Sail So if i select the song "R.I.P", it will start to play the song "Loud" - the one right above it. And say if i select that song "Sail" it will play the song "Lose Yourself"… Please help and let me know if this has happened to you. PS; I an on an IPhone 4 with IOS 6.1.3
- Why doesn't my iPhone show the 4G symbol but it shows the LTE symbol? I have Verizon as a carrier, and I just aksed this question but didn't ask it right. YES I HAVE 4G LTE. I've had the phone for 2 months and have been many places with it. It only shows the circle, 3G, and the LTE symbol, but not 4G or the Edge symbol. If anyone knows why, please let me know.
- Which takes up more space on my iPhone: a song in the music app or a song downloaded from Spotify? Assuming it's the same song, obviously, using the default quality settings for each. I need more space on my phone, and want to see if I can save space in the music department.
