Fell on knee cap swollen and bruise

I fell directly on my knee cap 2 days ago and it was on hard hard pavement and now it's all swollen only around my knee cap and there's a large bruise right on my knee cap I walk on a limp and it hurts to put pressure on the leg (right leg) and yeah I'm probably gonna go to the medi centre if the swelling dosnt go down and I iced it and all so…

Soak in a warm bath with Epsom salt maybe? Continue to ice it and maybe wrap it for the time being.

Keep your leg elevated on a couple pillows while you sleep if you can. That should help some of the swelling go down. Keep putting a bag of frozen peas on it as much as you can and if it doesn't get better in a week go see the doctor. Hope you feel better!

Don't walk at all it makes it worse. Put ice on it all day until u sleep. Rub it for 5 min every 1 hour to make the swelling go down hope you get better. If it dosent help get some crutches from walmart and go see a doctor

Compression.wear a compression bandage.keep swelling out of the knee joint
Elevate it.above the heart.including when you sleep
