Free iPhone 6 from actual apple website: scam, or not?
So I for some reason got on the apple website (i don't know how tho) and it popped up and said something like "you have been selected to win a free iPhone 6 because you have a Samsung phone and we want to make the test trial for the iPhone 7 better!" So I answered some simple questions. And none of which were like, personal or anything. They were all like, what do you want to see in the iPhone 7? Do you currently own any apple products? Do you have a valid us address to ship your iPhone 6? And stuff like that. At the end, (there was only like 3 questions) there were people who took pictures and were like, "thought this wasn't legit. Then got it in the mail. Along with the free t shirt!" And stuff like that. I just want to know if this is for real. My mom says it isn't but I kinda think it is. She won't let me finish the survey whatever thing. Do you think it is legit?
Those sites probably have viruses and spyware
That is a scam and a way to fake you into give them personal information.
But hey if you want to try it, no one here will stop you.
But I will sprout wings at 12 noon Monday, on live NEWS, at the Space Needle and fly around it several times, before you get a free iPhone out of that "ad".
Never trust this stuff. It's basically adware the pretends to be the official site.
- Words with friends invite from supposed Words Official says giving away thousands of free iPhone X's, does anyone know about this scam? Words Official: JA7R says: "To celebrate Words with Friends as the #1 Words app, Apple is allowing us to give away thousands of iPhone X's. Players seeing this message are already qualified. Visit iphoneswithfriends.com now and enter your shipping information."
- Why do I look gross on my iPhone camera, but not on an actual camera? I took two videos: one on my iPhone and one on my sister's new camera to test it out. On my phone, I look gross, blotchily red- and white-faced, every blemish is exaggerated, and my skin looks oily. On my sister's camera, I looked exactly the way I do in a mirror (well/evenly tanned, no extremely noticeable blemishes, not too oily). They're both 1080p, but my phone makes me look a lot worse. Even my really old 480p camera makes me look better than on my iPhone.
- Where can I go to report a website that is a scam? I bought an iphone case from a website called IphoneGlam.com on JULY 7TH. It said they shipped it but no details on where to track it. I just googled "iphoneglam scam" and it seems like everybody has the same problem. I want my money back and I want to report this website as well. How do I do this?
- What does the free iPhone scam do? I've always been curious, but never been dumb or brave enough to try to see what it actually does to your device
