Get the iphone 5 or wait for 5s/6?
Okay, so my birthday is November 11th and I'm DESPERATELY in need of a new phone. The one I have is completely and utterly worthless. The external keyboard in ripped of, the screen in scratched an the camera is basically in a dying hole.
I'm due for an upgrade at the end of August, and I'm considering getting an iphone.
My two bro's have iphone 4s's, and they seem great. I'm wondering if I should get the iphone 5, or get the 5s/6. I've heard rumors that the 5s should come out in June but that never happened. Hopefully it comes out soon?
Also, I dunno if I should just get a different phone entirely (ex.galaxy, android, etc etc)
What do you guys think?
Added (1). Kenton: Well, I would mostly just use it as an "all around-er" I text a lot, but I also am not home often.So, like you said, I would probably also use it as a mini computer.
What are you using your phone for?
If you answered "texting," then I would avoid iPhone. It is hard to text and it always comes out messed up. I have an iPhone 4 and love it. However, I use it more as a small computer than even a phone.
Personally I would stick with apple as I believe iPhones are the best.
If your phone still works then I say wait till iPhone 5s but if it's really not useable get the 5 as 5s won't have heaps of differences to the 5 just like the 4s wasn't heaps different to the 4
Personally I would go with the Galaxy S4 because it has so much more customization options for its users than the iphone does, IOS is more simple than Android and easier to use, but Android just has much more customization.
Personally, I would wait for the iPhone 5s if you want the iPhone. It's estimated to come out around September 20th. The iPhone 6 is estimated to come out in 2014 and even though the features it's supposed to have seem really cool, I wouldn't wait that long.
If you like the iPhone and its set up, go iPhone. Apple has really nice, easy to use products. If you want something not Apple and more customizable, go for something Android. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is really nice; I'm getting it in a week.
- To wait for Iphone 6 or to get either IPhone 5c or 5s? So I have an upgrade and I have a 4s so I now get to decide if I want to wait for the 6 or go with the 5c/5s. I'm welcoming any and all APPLE opinions/thoughts. For all you android people I'm not going to get the galaxy cause I have a macbook and an IPad.

My mum told me that she finally has the money and she can buy me a new phone and the price doesn't matter.
