Getting around internet filters at school?

So, I currently go to a high school where there are CRAZY internet filters, I have tried every thing to try getting around them to access tumblr and huffington post. But for the life I can't seem to get around them. I have tried first simply changing http to https which did not work. By the way there appears to be blocks and filters, particular websites like tumblr are completely blocked to the point where it tries to load the page but then says that it can't access the server. But, it also has filtered websites that if they fit blanket criteria they will automatically come up with a window that a teacher or administrator can over ride. Next I tried Tor browser, which worked on the Wi-Fi at my house but once I got to school I found out it was blocked, so I read a bunch of articles online in the hopes of them giving me the answer, but they all suggested VPN services provided from websites, but on the schools filters, all websites that have the have VPN capability are blocked out, although a teacher or administrator could get in, I can't. So from what I have read online a VPN is like a tunnel which you can access the world from, so I was wondering if there was a way for me to connect to my airport extreme at my house, from the schools Wi-Fi and then reach the outside world from there. I would like to connect my MacBook Pro & if possible my iPhone 6. I feel with simple instructions I could almost do anything with in reason when it come to technology.

1. The filters are there to protect both you and the school
2. You should not access stuff they block… You are at school to learn not to go on tumblr
3. Bypassing the filters could be considered a cyber crime and can land you expelled or even in jail…

It would be possible to set up your computer at your house as a proxy, but I wouldn't suggest it, because unless you knew what you were doing, you'd be opening it up to the world.

If it's a school computer, then they could theoretically look at everything you access, even if you access it through https or a vpn. So even if you take the effort to set up your computer this way, they might block it after one day once they see what it's being used for. Or, if the filters are crazy enough, they might be set up on a WHITElist, meaning you can only access websites that are pre-approved, so it wouldn't work anyway.

You know nothing about computers. Should study and you might learn something

I'm pretty sure those filters are there for a reason.

You don't own the computers/Internet access, so you can't decide to look up whatever you want.

Just play by the rules and you should be fine.

If you absolutely must access the blocked sites, use your phone's data connection, if you have one.
