GPU Glitching.new 7870 HD AMD?

Recently bought a new 7870 HD to play the new FFXIV, though i seem to be getting random glitches every now and then. The computer was recently reformatted.

16 gig Ram
600w PSU

Added (1). Card is updated to the latest 13.8 drivers.

It would be worth checking if you have the latest drivers for that card.

Could also be a faulty card.8.

Try another driver ( the one that came on the CD with the card). If that doesn't help, then I'd suspect a bad card. Every now and again, a bad card gets by quality control.

If you have another PCI-Expressx16 slot, try that. It should be in the one closest to the CPU in normal use.
Check the two 6 pin PCIe power plugs for the video card. Do not use any adapters… Your PSU should have the proper plugs I would think…
If the PSU has multi-rail +12V design, that could be an issue if there's heavy loading on one rail.
Finally, yes, the card could be faulty. Those pixels are indicative of faulty video ram. If the card keeps working all the time, even with those pixels, video ram is a suspect. If the card crashes as well (or takes the system as well into a crash), the overall card may be faulty.

You could try to roll back the drivers one level. Check the AMD site for older versions.
