Greyed out songs on my iPhone won't delete even after syncing on the computer?

I recently reinstalled windows on my computer and reinstalled iTunes as well. Last night I was having trouble with my phone and ended up system restoring it. Everything was backed up except my music (which I really don't care for anyway). Most of the things I downloaded ARE illegal and just automatically deleted upon plugging my iPhone in to my newly reloaded iTunes. Some songs however, those that are illegally downloaded by me are greyed on my iPhone but not showing up in my new iTunes, yet my actual legal purchases are coming on and off the iPhone while the greyed songs remain on the phone, prompting other people's Apple ID username and passwords (which is utterly annoying). Is there anyway to just delete the greyed songs? I know the answer can't be restoring the device because this is a result of restoring the device.

You answered your own quest. Unfortantly iphones build a software around installed files such as music and images, but if you really want to unlock potential i recognmend going to a mobile hospital it will cost a little but they have to teach you what you want to know… (there arent too many around) otherwise restoring would b hating yourself all over again, go to settings go to secure sorce area go to restore and don't enter the security code but proceed like you have then after it says please enter code go to itunes and playlists then edit playlist put the oldest songs at the top of the list then go to itunes and follow prompts to remove files done deal. I was scaring you at first but the truth is itunes.

  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth greyed out after water damage on iPhone 5S? I dropped my iPhone 5S in water. I didn't have anything to dry it with, but a towel. I tried to turn it off, but it turned itself on again. Now my Wi-Fi is greyed out, and Bluetooth is constantly circling. I haven't backed it up for a long time. And I'm on vacation without any computer.
  • Why are my songs greyed out on my iPhone 4s? I have an iPhone 4s and I had it plugged into my computer I have songs I don't listen to so I deleted them all. I went on my phone and All THE SONGS were on my phone but greyed out! I tried to delete them but it didn't work! I don't know what to do and i'm not really liking iTunes anymore!
  • Songs on iPhone won't play and are greyed out? When I go to my iPod on my iPhone 4 (OS 7.0.3), and tap on a random song to play, it will be greyed out, with the downloading circle next to it, and the next song is played instead. When I plug it into my iTunes and try to sync the songs again, this will resolve the problem for that song, but another song gets greyed out when I try to play it. Is this because I upgraded the OS? How do I permanently fix this?
  • Songs delete off iphone after syncing? After i synced my iphone on the computer that i always sync my phone on, almost all of my songs are deleted. They still show up on my phone but when i try playing them the phone will skip over them and go to the next song. I have over 10,000 songs and do not want to have to wait for a majority of them to sync onto my phone again
