Which phone battery lasts longer, iPhone or Galaxy?
I wanna buy a new phone and i'm considering either s3 or 4s or if the budget permits me, iPhone 5. If you can also highlight good points of the phone i would appreciate it. P. S. I'm not a very techie person, if it's possible please do describe it in a manner that's easy to understand.
I switched from an iphone 4s to a samsung gs3 and the battery life is so much better, and the phone itself is just unbelievably awesome. Don't go for an iphone, you will be utterly disappointed.
The iPhone battery lasts pretty long if your not constantly in it. Which is like any other phone, but personally I think it's not bough & I had to buy a battery case. So I could have a back up. The galaxy battery last pretty long to be honest but I like the iPhone as a phone Is rather have it Ruth the extra battery than have the galaxy. Hope I helped
For me its the galaxy all the way.battery life will be better than iphone and you can of course buy a second battery. Most important thing for me is the galaxy takes a memory card the iphone doesn't.

overall the Samsung has a significant battery advantage.
S3 has a better battery, better operating system (android>IOS) and better screen quality

- My iPhone battery lasts for 1.5 hours maximum, what should I do It is on whited00r custom 3.1.3 FW, the battery heats too much and won't last for more than 1.5 hours and it drains in stand by mode (and there's no app opened or push or notifications or BT or ShSh ) what should I do about that. However I'm so confused I'm not sure if I want the iPhone 5, Samsung galaxy s3 or the note. I was thinking more towards the iPhone side. - IPhone 5 battery lasts less than an hour from a full charge? My battery life is appalling and from a full charge the phone will be dead within the hour. Even when I'm not using the phone the battery still drains around 10% every 20 minutes. I've got most things on my phone disabled to conserve power and I'm running the latest firmware. I changed the battery a week ago and it's exactly the same as it was before. I don't know what to do, has anyone got an explanation or a way to resolve the problem?
- IPhone 5 battery lasts 4-5 hours? My iphone 5 battery lasts about 4-5 hours of normal usage, eg, surfing web, some music, maybe some app usage, ect. Everything that can be is either disable or enabled to optimise battery life. Is this normal, or should I return it to Apple? @Ross M, I just said that I've done everything possible that can be done to optimise battery life, I just need the question answered by other users if this is normal to get 4-5 hours of usage.
