I dropped my iPhone in water? - 1
So yesterday I dropped my iPhone in water. I was wondering if it was okay. So when it first fell I took it out immediately within 2 seconds. It still worked perfectly. The only big it had was it would never shut down when I powered it down. It power down and turn on right away. But as of today that doesn't happen anymore. I never powered it down after it touched water as it would turn itself back on. I tried to do everything on it today and there were no noticeable bugs. However the indicator in the dock has turned pink. What should I do?
If you have insurance for it you can return and it and have it change

Your iPhone may still have water in it put it in a bag of uncooked rice to get all the water out of it
I would take it to the store And get a replacement because if it was completely submerged even for the shortest time it's going to die eventually. You are going to have to pay full price though because water damage is not covered even if you have the insurance
This will sound strange, but trust me: put the phone in a jar of rice for a few hours. The rice will absorb any residual moisture from the inside of the phone. It should work after that- provided it's just the water that is affecting the device. Also, be sure that the phone is completely covered with the rice.
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water - 3 I just dropped my phone in water about a minute ago(it's 9:25 PST). I hurried up and got it out dried it off as fast as I could. It was working fine until now. It keeps popping up "charging not supported on this device" and also I just found out the sound isn't working! Now I can't even listen to all the money I spent on my songs.
