Help jailbreaking and unlocking my iphone?
I got a iphone 3gs with ios6 software. I tried jailbreaking it yesterday and downloaded cydia wich i assume is then jailbroken. I then tried to unlock it wich i believe online just said add snoebreeze to cydia wich i did but it didn't unlock to any network.
my iphone is locked to 02 but i'm using a giffgaff sim card in there.
do i need to put a 02 sim in to do it?
am i doing anything wrong.
i'm currently without a phone because i have changed to orange and kepttm giffgaff number. 02 said 7-10 days and i can't wait that long lol

- What's the difference in unlocking and jailbreaking? My dad just gave me a preowend iphone 4 and i need to know what is the difference? Also if possible a simple free way to change the phone company?
- Verizon iPhone 5 help! Unlocking? I have an iPhone 5 for Verizon. I was planning in using it in Tmobile. I tried putting a Sim but it doesn't even read it. I know for a fact they are factory unlocked. And yes they will work on Tmobile. But my friend sold me his phone and his service is still there but its not connected. Will restoring the phone through iTunes factory unlock it?
- Unlocking + Jailbreaking iPhone 4s? I wish to unlock and jailbreak my iPhone 4s, however have only ever unlocked iPod touch's. Does anyone have any instructions on what to use for both jailbreaking and unlocking my iphone including detail regarding the baseband etc? That's what I'm unclear on, it's the unlocking side of things.

Ok so I have my iPhone on bill pay but I couldn't afford to pay it anymore so they cut my service off (I can't receive messages or calls or make them) I'm wondering would I be able to get it unlocked to different networks or is it totally pointless. At the moment I can only use it if o have Wi-Fi.
