How come my FaceTime doesn't work?
I have an iphone 5 and my sister has an iphone 5 we live in different states and we both tried to FaceTime for the first time, well it was a complete failure, it didn't work, it wasn't until an hour later all of a sudden it said she was trying to FaceTime and the calling icon popped up, so I guess the real question is can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?
Facetime is a very labored app. It sux a lot of data down. IMessage and Facetime can and do work on Wi-Fi too. Both of you need to attempt Facetime on Wi-Fi and hopefully have better results. Doing it over data can be painful without a full signal. Best luck.

- Why doesn't my FaceTime work on my iPhone 4S? I have an iPhone 4S, and my boyfriend has my iPod 4th gen. We've FaceTimed before, but we usually have a problem where neither of us will receive the calls we send to each other. I'll call him, and it will tell me it's ringing, but he never gets the call. It's the same when he tries to call me. Very rarely will we get this to work. I'm using Wi-Fi, and so is he. What could be causing this problem, and what can I do to stop it from doing this?
