How could i make one of these? DIY
I want to make something like one of these for my iphone.

with just things from the hardware store.
any ideas?
Basically all they are is a clamp with a 1/4-20 threaded hole in the bottom to take the tripod mounts they are shown on. You can cut one from wood and epoxy a 1/4-20 nut in the bottom or bend one from aluminum stock sold in hardware stores and thread the hole or epoxy the nut for more strength.
If you were thinking of making the whole thing - tripod included - it is very difficult to make the triple leg thing and cheaper to buy (about $30) perfectly good ones.
- Will DIY engraving an iPhone 5s void the warranty? I want to write my name on the back of my iPhone with an engraving tool I got from Home Depot. Will it void the warranty? I have AT&T if that makes a difference

- Where can i find solid iphone cases for DIY cases? I don't want them in bulk because i don't want to spend that much, as i'm just starting. But i can't find simply solid colored cases! I've found clear but no cheap hard plastic snap on cases. White or Black is fine too!
- Where Can I Buy Clear iPhone 4 Cases For My DIY Cases? I'm kind of scared to order some because of the reviews I see on how the case gets scratched in the mail, or its hard to take off. But I wanted to know if there was a store wear I could go buy the case. Where I stay we don't have a hobby lobby and I know they have some. If you ordered some clear cases from a website and you were happy with it, please give me the link.
