How to uninstall an application on my iPhone?
I know how to delete an app by putting my finger on the app for a couple seconds and xing it out, but I mean after that. My phone is being kinda slow and I can't figure it out.
1) Close Down Apps - Each time you open an app on your iPhone it now remains open, and this can slow the iPhone down. To view the Apps that are open and therefore multitasking double-click the Home button and the multitasking interface will pop up.
A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen showing the open apps. To view all the open apps simple swipe left and right on the menu.
To remove a multi-tasking app tap-hold on the app in the multitasking bar that you wish to close until it begins to wiggle. Finally, tap on the minus badge that appears in the upper-left of the app's icon. The next time you launch the app, it will launch from scratch.
2) Reset Your iPhone - Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
When you reset you should not loose any of your data, however if you were entering data into an application this may be lost.
- My iphone locked me out after an itunes update, how can I uninstall it? Okay I have an Iphone 1 ( version 4.2.1) that I was using to listen to music WITHOUT a sim card in it. It would let me in anytime I wanted, and then I accidently updated Itunes and it decided to lock me out because I don't have a sim card. How can I uninstall it or where do I get a good jailbreak for it? Redsnow isn't working quite right /
- Is there a simple way to uninstall iOS6 and go back to iOS5 on my iphone? As title thanks. I use iPhone 4 and lost Googlemap after upgrade. Sure I can still access googlemap via Safari but it's just not as convenient. I'd like to roll back to iOS5. How do I do it please?
- If i uninstall and then reinstall itunes will i lose anything on my iphone? I can't back up my phone as every time i connect it to itunes it says i need to restore it and when i click restore it says i can't. And i want to back it up. Can i uninstall and reinstall to solve this problem? Or will i lose anything at all on my iphone? (not just music.contacts and texts and photos etc too) or can i make a new account and sync my phone with it as if it's the first time i've ever synced it? Would that work or screw it up?
- If I get iOS 7 on my iPhone 4S can I uninstall it? I'm not a developer or anything just a normal person that thinks iOS 7 looks cool should I get or wait for the release and if I do get it can I unistall it?
