How good is the S6 compared to the iPhone 6?

Please tell me everything good as well as bad. Thanks!

(I wouldve chosen S6, but after a bad android phone experience(Lg G3) I'm uncertain)

In virtually every hardware metric. The Galaxy S6 completely dominates the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Just about the only thing better on the iPhone 6 is the scratch resistant sapphire camera lens.

Beyond that hardware wise they aren't even close. It's not just a step up but processor speed, RAM, screen resolution, camera megapixels, video resolution, LTE speed, &c are vastly improved. We're talking about a dual core 1.4Ghz with 1GB RAM vs an octo core 2.1Ghz with 3GB RAM. The iPhone 6 specs are closer to that of a $200 BLU android phone.

The advantages of the iPhone is it's software ecosystem. Which is a matter of preference. I prefer iOS so much that I'm willing to pay the extra price for the convenience and ease of use. Not so much to buy the latest. I buy the previous gen on the new models launch day. I got a 64GB iPhone 5s in mint condition with two new $80 cases for $450.

However with all the reviews I have read on the matter, personal testing and testimonials of those whom I know that use it. I'll be giving Windows Phone (Lumia 640XL) a try so I can get a much cheaper phone that covers my wants. Namely a bigger screen.

As for the Galaxy S6. I'd only consider the S6 Active model. It has vastly superior battery life and is waterproof.
