How long does 2GB of data last?

I will use Wi-Fi most of the time but I want to make sure that 2GB won't run out so quick if I'm checking in social media at work on break sometimes or while I'm simply out and not home. I have no idea how much it is. I will probably only check in in a couple apps maybe or something here and there or if I'm out somewhere and use the internet because there's no Wi-Fi. Would it last me until I pay my next bill? Can someone tell me what/how much it would take me using it but not downloading anything for it to completely go out? We're talking about an iphone 4 here btw.

Apps like YouTube will eat through 2GB in no time at all. It really depends on which sites/apps you use.

Just set a limit reminder in the phone, then you won't go over.

2gb for one device is a lot stuff for a month-especially if you use Wi-Fi as well. Each user is different so 'how long' is really a tough question to crack. Just because you don't download anything doesn't matter. If you are out, on a cell tower signal, it is using some data all the time. It keeps the time, you get text messages, you get emails, you update a social status. All of that is data. You need to set the monthly counter on it to know for sure. Then set a monthly calendar reminder to check it and reset it at the beginning of your billing period. Best luck.
