How many pictures will the 32gb 5S hold?

I'm thinking about getting an iPhone 5s with 32gbs. I have a 8gb 4S right now and currently have no songs, 34 videos that are each about 30 seconds or less. 9,379 photos, and 17 apps… And I have 173mbs left.

Photos are about 2mb each, I found that if you screen shot the photos after you have taken them and then delete the original you will save a lot of memory. Screenshots are only like 300kb so you can get 6 screenshots for every photo roughly. Obviously just do this with stuff that isn't really important as the quality will be less when you zoom in on the photo on a laptop or something

No 100% correct answer since there are variables that affect the file sizes that affects the answer.

Assuming each pic is 2.5MB, 12 800 pics (minus that a little since iOS takes up some of that 32GB)

Photos are around 3.5 MB at full size. The rest of the system takes up a couple of gigabytes. That would allow for about 8000 photos, if you don't have any videos or songs or too many apps on the phone. Typical sizes:

32.0000 GB total memory
6.0000 GB used by system
0.0035 GB per photo
0.0230 GB per app (highly variable)
0.0032 GB per song
0.0500 GB per minute of HD video recorded
0.000004 GB per mail message (if no attachments)
