How much can an 8GB iPhone 4 hold? - 1

So in December I'm buying an iPhone 4 (Not the 4S), and I was wondering how much can it hold? I have 112 Songs, and about 20 Apps… Would that take up all the space, or would it leave me a bit to spare for pictures? Thanks so much! Please answer with real answers:-)

It holds 8gb according to long and hard research.

This should take up around 3gb, songs don't take up much space compared to apps. (Songs would be around 1gb, apps 2gb)

An iPhone with that GB should hold around 2, 000 songs, but I can't tell you about the apps since they can largely in size. But from what you said, unless you have really heavy duty apps, you should be fine.

If you already have apps and songs, you should be able to see in iTunes how much room they take up. Figure on the safe side that you'll have about 6.5GB for your own use.

Apps vary in size, you just can't measure by the number of them.

Same with music. Even length isn't exact, though it's more helpful; On my iPod, 1, 920 minutes of audio took up about 2.1GB. That much music works out to either 548 3.5 minute songs or 480 4-minute songs.

It'll hold probably about 6GB of free space. The OS takes up a lot of memory on Smartphones.

And for everybody that comments 8gb and thinks it's an obvious question it's not.

The phone is made to store 8gb, and that's before the OS get's installed on the phone.

The music shouldn't be a problem, but the apps, depending on what type of apps and the purpose of the app is might be a bit tight on space. And if you use Photo Stream for your photos, they'll be stored in the cloud so you your camera roll can be left empty and you can have more free space.
