How much does it cost to get a battery replaced on an iPhone?

I had a battery "replaced" at the Apple store when I had a 3GS. They actually take your phone and give you a replacement since the battery is not removable. It costs me $50 at the time because my phone was out of warranty, which I think is outrageous. Here's what I found for the cost today form the Apple Store website.
If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a battery replacement for $79, plus $6.95 shipping, subject to local tax. Apple disposes of your battery in an environmentally friendly manner
About a little less than $100.

- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.

A workaround in the warranty (which I do have, it expires in sept) or some way they can write it up in the store?
