How to activate imessage on my iphone 4?
I bought an iPhone 4 from my friend and he turned off the service and I was wondering how to turn on imessage. I tried but it just says waiting for activation then in like an hour it says activation unsuccessfull.
Here's what I did
Get a SIM card that you or no one else uses. If the phone is AT&T get a paper clip and stick the end in the hole in the side of the phone. Place the SIM card in, then close the SIM card tray. It will say no service but if you are in Wi-Fi go to messages and log into your iTunes account. There ya go.
- Why can't I activate iMessage on my iPhone 4S? I went to jamaica and used iMessaging when i was there with Wi-Fi. And now that I'm back in new york the iMessaging won't work or activate. What do i do? Every time i turn it back on and re-enter my password it says that an error occurred and to please try again. I've restarted my phone multiple times and did a hard reset, nothing works.

It just says waiting for activation and i can't select my phone number i the send and receive section.
- IMessage won't activate at all? I have a sprint iphone 5 my phone is off right now but I still use it on Wi-Fi and i restored my phone and my imessage won't activate… Its so annoying i put ios 7 on it the other day and it was working fine because on 6.1.4 it was getting annoying… No one else is having this problem its just me ugh someone help me please
