How to block a number and let them know that they're blocked (iPhone)?
I would like to block a number on my iPhone and set it up so that every time they try to text me, they get some sort of message that lets them know that they are blocked. Is there any app that allows for this?
If there isn't an app that can do this, I would settle for an app that doesn't block the number but just automatically sends them a message. Is there an app that will send a custom message every time a specific number texts me?
When you block someone the only way they know that they're blocked is if you message them before blocking them.
To block:
Go on the text, on the top right there should be "contact" in blue, tap that and then an i with a circle around it should be one of the options, tap that and then scroll down till you see "block this caller", tap that and they won't be able to call or text you. They'll be able to, but you won't receive the texts and calls.
- When you Block Caller on iPhone, does it completely block them or do they show up as Unknown? I routinely "Block Caller" telemarketers, so does using the iPhone "Block Caller" option block all calls, or will the calls still come through and just show up as "Unknown"? I've received a lot of "Unknown" phone calls lately, so that's what I was attributing it to.
- If someone were to block my text now number would it block my normal number? I was teasing my girlfriend on my text now and she blocked me and I tired calling her and texting her on my normal number but she won't reply and it only run once and hung up. She has an iPhone, would it block my normal number if she blocked my text now number?
- If I have someone blocked on my iphone, and I send them a message, will they get it? I sent someone that didn't have me blocked, I had him blocked cuz he text way too fast and always text me to hang out and **** so I asked him something and he never answered, did he get it? Ps we're cool in class and today he was in his happy brady bunch mood lol so he had no problems with me
- If i block someone's number then send them a text will they still get my message? I had blocked someone's number on my iphone then forgot and i sent them a text(while they were still blocked) i realized they were still blocked like 5 seconds after i sent it, so i unblocked them, but i don't know if they still got my text? does anyone knows if a message will still send if you have the person blocked? please answer
