How to connect my iPhone to my chevy volt?

I would like to play my music in my car without using the usb cable and simply use the Bluetooth. How can I have my iPhone/iPod connected to my car without the damn cable?

First, your car must be equipped with that feature. If it is, instructions are provided in the car's manual. If you don't have it, download it from Chevrolet.

It helps if you have a Bluetooth-equipped car. If that's the case, hit the Configure button and go to Phone Settings -> Bluetooth -> Pair Device. Meanwhile, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and select the car from the list of found devices. Enter the pairing code and away you go.

If the vehicle has built-in Bluetooth, you just pair the two and away you go.

If it does not have built-in Bluetooth, all is not lost. Almost every car out there that has a stereo has an auxiliary port, where you can use a cable to connect the stereo with an MP3 player or phone. Yes, I know, you said no cable. Not a problem. You get a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the aux port… They are all over Amazon and Ebay. Pair the phone and the adapter and there you go.

  • IPhone 5 or Lg Volt from Virgin mobile? I have a iPhone 5 with virgin mobile and I was thinking of switching to the new LG Volt. I really want a bigger screen size. I'm well aware of the specs but do you think it's worth 100 bucks extra cash of switching? https://www.virginmobileusa.com/shop/cell-phones/lg-volt-phone/features/#ask-answer
