How to delete saved messages from my iPhone for more space?

I want the new update, but I have to have a lot of space available. It's said this forever that I have "saved messages" it's the #1 thing on my used GB and I don't know how to get ride of them! I don't care about any texts from the past so someone help me!

You could do them one by one but there's a way to get rid of them all at once. Careful, it takes some reading to get it. They are being 'saved' in iCloud so you have an additional step. Best luck.

  • Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
  • My MacBook hasn't saved some messages from my iPhone? I'm using Macbook air and iphone. I updated it recently so devices are all new versions. The problem is there's no message saved for few days. It hasn't saved since few days ago and has started to save from today so i have all messages i've sent today. Is there any way to save them manually?(not iTunes but iMessage!)
  • IPhone says I have 4.0 GB in Messages (Saved)? On my iPhone 5s in Settings>Usage it says there's 4.0 GB of Messages (Saved). I hardly have any messages on my phone so I'm wondering how to maybe fix this problem? I know that you can still see deleted message in spotlight search so is there maybe a way to delete those permanently?
