How to delete songs off my IPhone? Not showing on iTunes?

I did the iOS7 update and for some reason it put songs onto my iPhone which I used to have years ago, but deleted. They don't sync onto iTunes, meaning I can't delete them. What do I do?

Go to Settings-General-Usage- scroll and find Music- and hit Edit in the top right hand corner. Then hit delete all music. (get rid of all other music except the ones you want deleted first.) Problem Solved.

  • Why can't I delete some songs off Itunes? I have an Iphone 5s fully updated. I'm trying to delete some songs I don't listen to anymore in order to make more room. I've been able to delete most but some songs won't even give me the option. When I slide my thumb, the delete option won't show up. Is there something I can do besides restarting my phone? (I've already done a hundred times).

I'm trying to sync my playlists… There are songs on my playlist in itunes that won't sync in the playlist on my iphone… They show up as gray with a dotted circle on the left… I bought them on itunes, so it can't be that is the issue… Please help

I put all the songs I want in the playlist on iTunes, then I go to sync my phone and about half the songs are missing? I tried everything just doesn't make any sense Also I tried to put the songs in the playlist on my phone itself then I sync it with iTunes and just takes the song right back off?   • Songs showing up on iTunes but not iPhone 5? I went to listen to a specific album on my iPhone 5 and noticed I only have 3 songs from it. So I went into iTunes and put the album back on to the phone. When I look at the phone through iTunes the album shows up with all the songs. However, when I look on my phone I still only have the 3 songs. They work if I create AAC versions but I don't want to do that and take up the extra space. How can I fix this?
