How to delete updates to the App Store?

I'm showing that I have two updates to the App Store on my Iphone 4S and I don't want to do an update to those two particular apps. And I don't like seeing the little number 2 on the App Store icon. Is there an easy way to delete those updates?

  • Why won't the Apple store allow me to see my updates? I have an iPhone 3GS on iOS 6.1.2, and I'm having trouble with the app store. I can download new apps, and I can see the red number 4, letting me know that I have 4 new updates. However, the updates section stays blank and will not show me what apps need to be updated! What do I do! Is anyone else having this problem!

  • IPhone app updates not installing? Since I've downloaded ios6 onto my 4s, whenever I update any apps it's not doing it and 'waiting' this means that I can't use them, or delete them. Is there anyway of deleting them so I can reinstall them?
