How to dry out an iPhone 4S?
So last night I was at a party with some friends. I was quite drunk. And as normal, I had my phone on me all night. I don't quite remember how or when my phone got wet but indeed it did. I was a little to intoxicated to deal with it and not long after I passed out, leaving my phone on. A few hours later I awoke to see my phone not turning on and the flashlight was on. Not even thinking, I continued to try and turn it on, having not fully remembered that it had gotten wet. At that moment I was still unaware it was really wet. So I pushed the buttons like crazy and basically got mad at it as I thought the thing was only glitching again. Then I noticed the lens on both cameras were fogged up… On the inside. I knew it was wet now. But I was straight outta luck. I had nothing to dry it out with such as rice. So finally after anywhere from 3-6 hours I arrived home and put it in rice. And once again I didn't really realize how bad it was to try to turn it on and I have tried several times. I just took it out of the rice and took the back off and there's moisture. I'm about to use a can of compressed air to try to dry it out some. Is there much I can do?

Keeping it in rice would be the best idea. I kept mine in rice for a few days, and it gradually started working again.
- Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?
- Will my iphone be ok over night till i dry it out in rice? I won't be able to dry it out till tomorrow. I dropped it in a bucket of water. Will it still work?
- Will my iphone 4 dry out after i dropped in the toilet? I accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet and i immediately grabbed it out. It was on for an hour, now it won't come on? Will it dry out i've had the phone for two years and it is the first time i've dropped it in the water? Will it come back on? I'm due for an upgrade soon, but i really like this phone.
- My son dropped my iphone 5s in the dog bowl what's the best way to dry it out? I have removed the back and dried it the best i could with a kitchen cloth it still works but the screen goes fuzzy after a few seconds i have it in a box of rice atm and intend to leave it there for a day or so any other advice?
