How to erase personal data from iPhone and keep apps?
I want to sell my iPhone and keep flappy bird on it. How do I do this but reset my phone to factory so my personal data isn't on it?
Not possible, the app is tied to your Apple ID.
Also note: There's no point in selling it with Flappy bird. It doesn't make it more valuable.
The people who are listing their phones for $1,000s aren't getting actual buyers (they all have either 0 bids, or bids from fake accounts)
- When I set up a new iphone and reset everything, does it erase cellular data too? I got a Sprint 3G on my iPhone and I want to reset it. If I reset everything, does it erase the Cellular data with Sprint 3G too. Please I need to know so I can set up as new iPhone by using iTunes on the computer.
- What will erase and sync erase on my iphone? I wanted to connect my iphone to a new computer but it says erase and sync, what will it erase? All of the contents or just music?
- Iphone 6. Data and Wi-Fi turned on. Will apps only run on data? Or, will it use Wi-Fi when available? It seems i'm burning through data. I tried turning off data to an app i was using when i had Wi-Fi while cannected to Wi-Fi and continually received a message to ho to settings>Cellular>Cellular Data>Use cellular data for>then a selection of aps like safari, google maps, ap store… With cellular data turned off or if just the app chosen not to use data. I was unable to access when connected to Wi-Fi.
- If I erase and sync my iPhone 4 in the music library, will it erase my photos? I'm trying to add music to my iPhone 4 and when I go to sync just the music, it says 'erase and sync'. Will it delete my photos? If so, can I right click my iPhone and back it up so if it does delete my photos, I can just back it up?
