How to get a working iPhone 5s fingerprint scanner replacement?
I bought an iPhone 5s used a few weeks ago and the fingerprint scanner and home button were replaced by the previous owner. It works as a home button but the sensor doesn't work. I was planning on buying one on Amazon but all the reviews said the sensor doesn't work. I did some research and found that each sensor is specifically paired to its original device and devices will not work with any other sensors. Is there any way to get one that works (from apple maybe?) or make the replacement work?

Get it replaced through Apple. They do warranty and out of warranty repairs.
- Replacement Pending iPhone. Replacement phone or fix? My iphone is being repaired and on the apple service page it says 'iPhone replacement pending' and below it says repair complete… I was wondering if this meant that my phone has been repaired or if Apple are sending a replacement iphone different than the original.
- Is the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 4S? So I just downloaded the ios 7 and I have an iPhone 4S u also heard that there's also a fingerprint scanner and that it might only be for iPhone 5? Is this true?
