How to get internet on my laptop?
I bought a laptop offline from Walmart ( Acer Refurbished Granite Gray 11.6" C720-2848 Chromebook PC with Intel Celeron 2955U Processor, 2GB Memory, 16GB SSD and Chrome OS) thinking I was going to be able to hotspot it with my iPhone but I wasn't, so what do I get so I can get Internet access? And where do I get it from?
You can sign up with an Internet provider to get Internet into your home or you can go to a cafe that has Wi-Fi and access it from there.
Your chromebook should work if you set your iPhone as a hotspot
Try to connect in coffee shop with Wi-Fi. Maybe your Wi-Fi is disabled. My laptop has Wi-Fi switch, maybe yours have it as well and it is turned off.
- Why does my laptop get such bad internet download speed while my Iphone gets 10 times more? My router is downstairs connected to a Windows vista PC. That PC connected with an ethernet cable gets around 90-100Mbs download speed. I did another speed test on my iphone upstairs next to my laptop, and it got 80-90 Mbs. But When I did the speed test on my laptop, it was only 10Mbs down. It's really annoying because it takes like a billion years to open youtube and everything lags.
