How to get into your iPhone when you forgot the password?
My brother decided to be funny and changed the password and completely forgot about it. After trying a lot of times to get into my phone, I happened to disable it. I looked up online how to get into the iPhone if you forgot the password and I connected to iTunes and clicked restore data. After about 7 minutes (after the "restoring data") the message popped up saying: The iPhone couldn't be restored. Device not found. It is hooked up to my computer. I don't know what's wrong.
You can try to restart it from the device. Hold the home button and lock screen. And then re plug it into your computer.
Connect the iPod to iTunes
Press your lock and home button at the same time without letting go until the apple icon pops up. Press and hold the home button when the apple icon pops up
Do what iTunes tells you to do
- Would you get a notification on your iPhone if your Apple ID was used to log into another device? I'm unsure if I have unknowingly given my Apple ID to a scammer in the past, but I curious would I have received a notifcation on my iPhone, in a form of a text or pop up? I've heard that before and I wanted to make sure. Even if you didn't have two-factor authentication on.
- What to do if you forgot you iphone passcode and you didn't even put your iCloud account in? When i first got my iphone i set the passcode as 000000 but I somehow typed too fast and hit something else and i did it TWICE. I didn't even get a chance to log in my apple id account. I don't know what to do.
- My grandma forgot her iPhone password and we're trying to get here data off? Is there any hope that we might be able to get her data off her phone. Just though of removing the SIM card would that work?
