How to get my Iphone to play music in my car?
Hi, my car doesn't have an aux socket it only has a cigarette lighter. I was just wondering what I need to buy in order to play music through my Iphone out through the car stereo?
If you buy an fm transmitter you can play it through your speakers but there are a lot of them and some don't work very well so I would do some tease arch before you buy one
An fm transmitter. They're a couple of quid from eBay. They will transmit your iPod via fm and you will simply tune your radio to that frequency.
Ricardo, there are several FM Transmitter apps available in the app store. These applications let you broadcast music from your phone over a particular frequency (e.g. 92.5FM) for short distances. Not sure how good the music will sound, but that's probably your only option.

I want to buy the device that connects your iphone to your car stereo to play music that is on your phone (such as pandora). I need it for my long drive back to college. p.s. I just got an iphone and i'm iphone-illiterate.

It shows the track, the album artwork and the duration but it WLL NOT make a sound. Is there something i need to change on the settings?
