How to get my music to play through one headphone only on my iPhone?

I'm deaf in my left ear so it's really annoying when I have headphones in and only half of the sounds are playing into my right ear. I have an iPhone 5 with the latest iOS update and even when I change the accessibility settings from L to R for the audio balance, I still don't get all the sounds?

You're using the wrong setting for what you ned to achieve. Go back into Accessibility and set the sound to "mono". That will then ensure both speakers get exactly the same sound mix.

  • Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
  • My iPhone is playing music through one earphone louder than the other one? I've had this problem before, and I solved it by changing a bar-like feature on the settings. But now I have iOS 7, it's gone back to the old setting and I can't find a way to change it back. I know people will think that I should just buy new headphones, but they can get expensive and thus I'd rather not. Any advice would be great! Thanks: D (p.s.   • Music only plays out of right headphone on iPhone 4? Okay i know it's not the headphone because I have tried multiple headphones and I have also tried it on different iPhones and for some reason all of them only play music out of the right headphone or if I put it over a sound system it only plays out of the right speaker? Has this happened to anyone before or know how to fix it?
