Apple Store seems inconsistent, you might be able to have an iPhone fixed by asking especially if you shelled out the extra for the Apple Care accident plan. I have heard both fantasy come true and nightmare stories about apple service so you might get lucky.
Apparently you think warranties are based on how you talk. That has nothing to do with it.
- Will my iPhone still be under warranty? A few months ago I cracked the back of my phone and the other day I picked up my phone and the lock button won't work. I know it's still under warranty because of when I bought it, but because it's cracked can they not fix the lock button for free?
- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
