How to preserve an Otterbox?
I've had my iPhone for a year and a half, and my Otterbox for just as long. It's now falling apart, and I need it to last another 6 months. Any tips? I don't have any other phone cases, and it seems silly to buy a new one this late.
Falling apart meaning what? Pictures would help along with details of exactly what you are talking about. Have you contacted Otterbox for advise?

Otterbox products have a two year warranty. Just contact them and get a new one. I've done it many times, they have a great warranty program.
I would have been able to keep S3 longer if I had replace my Otter Box case when the corners wore out or if I had not dropped it on the sidewalk after the corners wore out. There are other brands of phone case almost as good for less money on Amazon.
also now that most phone companies have started charging the retail price for smartphone you might want to keep your current phone for three or four years rather than just two.
- Which iphone case is better? Lifeproof OR otterbox armor? I want it to be water proof, drop/crush proof, dust, and cold/snow. I really want it to be thin-ish and water proof. ALSO which one can go deeper in water and take a longer fall
- What's a safe iphone case besides the otterbox? I'm clumsy and drop my phone alot. I own the otterbox, which is a tank, and has helped me numerous times, but I have come to accept that the otterbox ruins iphone aesthetics, so I'm looking for a less bulky case that will still provide reasonable protection against occasional drops out of my hand etc. Some of the cases my friends have are so thin I worry it won't do anything.
- Otterbox Defender, Impact, or Commuter? I'm in need of an Otterbox for my iPhone 3gs. I don't know which to order… The Defender, the Impact, or the Commuter. What is your advice for the best one? Ordering online is hard since I can't hold them in my hand. My friend had the Defender whichi s pretty bulky, but I didn't know if the other two would give as good of protection. Thoughts?
- Otterbox commuter for iPhone 4 fit the iPhone 4S? I have a white iPhone 4S. I found a PERFECT otterbox commuter case really cheap and rare to find. It says it doesn't fit the iPhone 4S. It's made for the iPhone 4. But I have an Otterbox defender case that's meant for the iPhone 4 and says it won't for the iPhone 4S but it does. Does anyone know if an otterbox commuter series case that's meant for an iPhone 4 fit an iPhone 4S!
