How to put iPhone in DFU with a computer/command?
I have an iPod touch, and its ribbon that connects between the [power button & volume buttons] to the [motherboard] apparently has broken. What i'm saying is that i can't do the power and home button method because the power button is broken.
is there any way i can put it into DFU with the computer or something?

- What happens when you put your iphone into dfu mode when its turned on? I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!
- If i sync my iPhone to my computer will it take my photos off my phone and put them on the computer? I need to have my phone synced for the app zedge but i don't want my photos to be taken off my phone. There's this bar and on it it says photos, app, ect. And next to it is a little button that says sync. So IIm guessing it will take my photos. But i don't want that to happen but i need to sync my phone. Is there anyway i can do it without having my pictures going on to the computer?
