How to put music from Windows media player straight to iphone?

Added (1). Okay or a way to put from Pc to iPhone. Just a way to get music on it without iTunes. Or putting music from the Pc to iTunes. I just would prefer not to use iTunes.

Unfortunately this can't be done. Windows Media player will not talk to any Apple devices; and also, it's default format when you rip CD's to your computer, (.wma), is not Apple compatible either.

You either need iTunes installed on the PC; or there's an Apple free alternative called Nightingale.

I would be interested to know what your beef is with iTunes (and why you have no problems with WMP). There are a number of complaints routinely posted here, and I have yet to see one that's valid.

For one thing, many people posting questions here look for alternatives to iTunes because they have this woeful misunderstanding that having iTunes (the software) means having to pay to put music on your iPod even if for songs you've already bought in CD or from legitimate online stores.

While there may be other gripes with iTunes (and even a couple that have no corresponding MWP problem), you could have simply avoided them by not having gotten an Apple phone. There are phones in other platforms that will be just as reliable as an iPhone for the 2-3 years of your ownership, and they would not have required that you use iTunes.
