Press and hold on the icon of the application you want to delete until the icons shake. X buttons will appear on the corners of the applications, click on that on the app you want to delete. However, there are some applications that come standard on the iPhone, like Safari, clock or Wallet. These apps can't be deleted as they're built into your phone.
If you want to remove an app that you didn't install yourself, you'll have to root the phone.
Press & hold on any icon & press the x once it comes up.
Hold down on the app you want to delete and press the X in the left corner. Check this video out for a visual.
