How to remove an icloud lock from iPhone 5s?
Okay, so, I sold My iPhone on Amazon and I had the buyer notify me that it is locked. How do I remove that with no iPhone on me? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to iOS since I use Android. If there are various methods please let me know.
Go to icloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID that was associated with that iPhone, go to "Find iPhone" and click on "All Devices" Look for the iPhone you sold and click on "Remove from account". It may not show up right away, so you may need to give it a couple of seconds.
Once you have done that, tell the seller to try to activate the phone again. It should work now.
If you still had access to the device, you can go to Settings>iCloud> and turn off Find My iPhone and then log off your Apple ID.
Just one thing: If you plan on selling more iDevices later on, try to do this before you sell it. Buyers will probably think that you're scamming them if you sell it without removing the phone from your iCloud account. Just a tip for future reference.
You log into your iCloud account and remove that phone from that account. If you can't remember the account password, or you never created one, you are a scammer.
- Remove icloud lock replacing which part? Which part in the iPhone 4 can I replace to remove icloud lock? Would it be stored in the motherboard? Please help! I can't restore/DFU mode or get the activation lock off! (And yes the phone is mine I just forgot the info because I haven't used it in 5 years)

- ICloud Activation lock? Downgrade to iOS 6 to remove? So I stupidly bought an iPhone 5C from eBay… It turns out it has the iOS 7 activation lock on it, I can't get anywhere with it and need to remove this blimmin' iCloud account, so if I was to put the device into Recovery/DFU mode and downgrade it to iOS 6 would this somehow remove the problem?
